Welcome
We are a family owned farm practicing local, sustainable farming high in the Sierra Nevada Mountains of California near Lake Tahoe.
We have always had a passion for good food, but after reading Michael Pollan's Omnivore's Dilemma, we feel the drive to help produce food fit to eat. To this end, our farm will operate without the use of synthetic fertilizers and pesticides. We are, currently, collecting wood shavings from Truckee River Sash & Door as well as spent produce from New Moon Natural Foods and Moody's Bistro for composting and other farm uses. We thank these local businesses for their generous donations to the farm.
